About the event
K-TIG is a highly refined, keyhole variation of GTAW both with or without filler. It excels in Austenitic Stainless Steels, Carbon steels,
Titanium,
Zirconium, Duplex and Super Duplex, Nickel, Monel, Inconel and Hastelloy to
name a few. By
incorporating a square edge joint configuration, K-TIG is able to perform butt
welds at extremely fast speeds! An average time saving of 90% on suitable
applications. Notwithstanding
that K-TIG is able to perform single-pass full penetration butt welds in materials
up to 12mm thick.
The
presentation will be close up look at keyhole TIG process with a practical
demonstration of the system and how it can be applied in both piping and
pressure vessel applications.
