Laser Welding and Cleaning. New technologies

Please note that this event is being run by the Weld Australia SA State Committee and is a Face-to-Face event. The event will be followed by networking for those on site. Both members and non-members are welcome to attend. This is a FREE to attend event.

Business owners, senior welding staff and anyone interested in advanced welding processes are invited to come to see the latest advances in Lasers in industrial use. The event will provide information on current world best practices.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER

Markus is the Head of Laser Technology Asia Pacific as well as the General Manager for TRUMPF Singapore. He is living in Singapore.

Markus started his career in TRUMPF in the year 2000 at the development team for additive manufacturing in the machine tools division of TRUMPF.

In 2006 he moved to the central sales department of TRUMPF’s laser division.

In the year 2011, he became the sales director of TRUMPF China’s laser division in Shanghai. In 2016 he has been promoted to the Director of International Sales Asia and Africa in the TRUMPF Headquarter in Germany. Markus took over the current regional position in Singapore on June 2018 and has been promoted to be the General Manager in Singapore in April 2022.
