the region, we have seen sustained growth in recent times and currently have a
number of vacancies for experienced Boilermaker / Welders to
join our Karratha based team.
This opportunity sits within the Mining & Resources sector and is a full-time, on-site position based in Karratha, WA, WA.
Key responsibilities
Reporting to our Workshop & Site Project
Managers, this Karratha Based position will
expose you to a wide array of Welding & Boilermaker skills and provide an
amazing opportunity to diversify and develop your skills:
- Structural Steel Fabrication & Welding
- Class Approved Marine Fabrication & Welding
- Structural Aluminium Fabrication & Welding
- Sheet Metal Fabrication: Steel, Stainless & Aluminium
- Coded Pipe & Pressure Vessel Fabrication
- Site Installation & Maintenance Works - RioTinto, Woodside,
Yara, CITIC, BHP, FMG, Toll etc.
- Heavy Earth Moving Equipment Welding: Buckets, Booms, Wear
Components etc
- Architectural and Decorative works inc. complex Stainless Steel

About you
To be considered for this position you must have:
- Cert III in Engineering or Metal Fabrication or Higher
- Capable of passing a 3G & 4G test coupon with 7016 Stick Rods in 12mm Mild Steel to AS1554.1 (Generalist) or 6G GTAW in 2" Sch Std Carbon Steel (Piping Specialist)
- White Card
- Full Australian Working Rights
- The ability to interpret and fabricate from shop drawings
- A commitment to quality workmanship and take pride in your work
