About the role
Our
state-of-the-art fabrication workshop, based in Forrestfield, has positions
available right now for heavy fabrication experienced Boilermaker Welders to
join us on long-term rostered roles.
You will be
helping us to complete a range of multi-million-dollar contracts for the
fabrication of dump truck trays and loader & excavator buckets, so previous
experience in this area is high regarded.
Experience in
welding of quenched & tempered steel material is essential for the role.
You will have
the option to choose from a weekly rotating day/night roster, days only, or
nights only!
This opportunity sits within the Mining & Resources sector and is a full-time, on-site position based in Forrestfield, WA.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out welding, fabrication or technical work to the relevant Australian Standards and project specifications.
- Interpret drawings, specifications, procedures or quality requirements relevant to the role.
- Maintain strong safety, quality and documentation practices throughout the work.
- Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, inspectors, trades and project teams to deliver reliable outcomes.

To be
considered for this role, you will need to have these:
- Relevant Trade Qualification
- High Risk Licence – Forklift (desirable)
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical
- Unrestricted Australian working rights
Applicants will
must be able to pass 3G
Vertical and 4G Overhead weld test consisting of;
Single
bevel joint with backing plate using FCAW welding process -1.6mm diameter
E81Ni1 H4 wire (CO2)
Complying to AS/NZS 9606.1 and AS/NZS 1554.4: 2014 standard
