Key responsibilities
This role is ‘hands on’ with autonomy, leading the welding department, reporting directly to the Workshop Manager and interacting with the Group Welding Coordinator on a daily basis. You are responsible for the supervision, mentoring and training of the welding team and all aspects of welding quality control. The role involves collaborating with other department supervisors to achieve efficient workflow.
To help you in this role, you are supported by a modern, clean factory with up-to-date welding equipment. The work is interesting and varied consisting of both pressure equipment and structural steel fabrication. The company promotes a strong work culture in which section supervisors are trained and mentored in all aspects of business, to build future leaders and ready the team for promotions and career advancement.
