This opportunity sits within the Mining & Resources sector and is a contract, on-site position based in Bendigo, VIC.
Key responsibilities
About Your Role
Working in our Bendigo facility which is the hub for the design and assembly of our protected vehicles, you would be responsible for but not limited to welding of vehicle subframes and hulls. This is a 12 month fixed term position.
· Fabrication of sub frames and / or hulls
· Providing efficient and timely fabrication services with a certain degree of autonomy
· Manual handling tasks
· Ensure you follow safe working practices
· Teamwork
About you
How About You?
· Trade Qualification: Certificate III – Engineering Fabrication, or higher
· Experience in using MIG welding equipment
· Experience in welding to AS1554 (structural purpose)
· Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing principals would be advantageous
