Workshop Boilermaker required for LVB structural - Carrum Downs, VIC
To commence casual asap with potential for full time.
Skilled boilermaker required for welding and fabrication of structural steel, reading shop drawings and maintaining high quality standards.
This opportunity sits within the Energy sector and is a part-time, on-site position based in Carrum Downs, VIC.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out welding, fabrication or technical work to the relevant Australian Standards and project specifications.
- Interpret drawings, specifications, procedures or quality requirements relevant to the role.
- Maintain strong safety, quality and documentation practices throughout the work.
- Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, inspectors, trades and project teams to deliver reliable outcomes.
About you
Cert 3 or 4 in Engineering Fabrication
Experience in MIG welding and structural steel fabrication
Ability to confidently read plans / drawings
Strong focus to detail and quality
Ability to display initiative and work autonomously
Minimum 3 years in structural steel fabrication experience
