About the role
Our team have been busy working on several innovative solutions for our customers at our specialised workshop in Withcott. With the ongoing growth of our contracts and projects we are looking to expand the team and have a permanent opportunity for a Boilermaker to join us. You will report to the Workshop Superintendent and will be responsible for assisting in the maintenance and manufacturing of drilling and well servicing equipment, as well as supporting our wider contracts within Ventia.
This opportunity sits within the Infrastructure sector and is a full-time, on-site position based in Withcott, QLD.
Key responsibilities
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Inspect, service and repair equipment as needed or directed to ensure reliable performance
- Fabrication or remedial welding to trade qualifications
- Perform fabrication repairs to equipment in accordance with legislative and manufacturers requirements
- Complete and submit daily tradesperson reports, timesheets, repair requests, and non-conformance reports
About you
- Certificate III Engineering / Heavy Metal Fabrication
- Experience in heavy manufacturing projects
- Understanding of industry legislation and compliances
- Demonstrated ability to read engineering drawings and manufacture to tolerance
- Knowledge and understanding of quality assurance and workplace health and safety
- Current C (car) class driver’s licence
