About the role
Immediate opportunities available for qualified, experienced Workshop Tradesperson (Cert 3 Engineering Fabrication)
Overall
you will be contributing to major commercial projects within ACT
and NSW.
You will
working in the workshop responsible for the welding and fabrication of
structural steel and/or architectural metalwork, reading shop drawings, and
complying with the high quality standards of the company.

What
you'll need to succeed
- You must possess the
following skills and attributes:
- Minimum two years
installation of structural steel experience.
- Competency with
multiple welding processes (GMAW/MIG, GTAW/TIG, MMAW/Stick, FCAW) -
preferred
- Ability to read and
interpret drawings
- Mark & set out
- Ability to both fabricate
& install metalwork items (e.g. handrails, balustrades) and the
erection of structural steel - advantageous
- Fit & motivated to work
- Have the ability to work
both independently and as a team member
- Show initiative within the
workplace and commitment to safety
- Have a high attention to
detail within your workmanship
Prerequisites
- Cert 3 engineering
fabrication or greater (MUST)
- Current unsuspended drivers
licence (public transport is not readily available in the area)
